BioCity’s Offering to Start Up Life Science companies

The package is designed to make it as easy as possible to start your

business:

Up to 300sq ft laboratory for £25 per month for 12 month. Cost includes business rates, utilities, service charge and rent.
Hot desk facilities
Up to two access cards for BioCity facilities
Vouchers- £1,000 for use against Fisher Scientific products and £1,000 for use against fees charged by Adamson Jones, patent lawyers (excludes disbursements)
Hands on advice and management support from either the BioCity team or one of BioCity’s Associates.
Priority access to Mobius Life Sciences investment (investment not guaranteed)

The deal:
Companies must be accepted onto the programme through an application and review process. Not all applicants will be accepted. A maximum of 6 companies will be accepted at any one time
Applicant companies must be less than 3 years old
In exchange for the support, the company will issue to Mobius Life Sciences share options to purchase 10% of the then outstanding share capital of the company at the most recently issued price. After three years Mobius may exercise the option or require the company to repurchase it at the then fair value of the underlying shares.
