Sartorius Stedim BioOutsource Ltd, based in Glasgow, are building a new innovative manufacturing facility to deliver cell banking services and become the showcase facility for Sartorius products. We are looking for an experienced Production Leader to manage the day to day running of cell banking projects with the opportunity to be involved from initial closed system cell bank process set up through to full GMP manufacture. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate technical excellence in the field of GMP mammalian cell culture using bioreactors. Additionally, you will have proven organisational and communication skills and a proven track record in laboratory systems or process management.

Skills and experience that you need to bring to our Company
You will have a Degree, Masters or PhD in a relevant discipline with a proven track record in proven track record in GMP manufacturing of biologics. Excellent technical knowledge in mammalian cell culture is highly desirable preferably with knowledge of bioreactor control.
You will be a driven and motivational leader, with excellent organisational skills, prioritising multiple tasks to ensure on-time project delivery. As well as having the technical insight to problem solve and develop new processes.
An excellent communicator at all levels with the technical insight to troubleshoot and develop new processes is essential.
