Due to our continued growth and success we have a fantastic opportunity for two Senior Project Scientist’s to join our Pharmaceutical Development team. This is a pivotal role that will lead projects from all pharmaceutical development aspects and leading up to CMC activities.
As the Senior Project Scientist you will work closely alongside our Project Management team to support in all project set-up activities within Pharmaceutical Sciences and you will have interaction with clients from the initiation of the programme.
This role will also include line management responsibility of a development project team with two direct reports. You will be responsible for the delivery and review of all development plans and reports, analytical qualification protocols, reports and laboratory write ups for your team. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring all formulation development aspects are delivered within the team and there is a smooth transition of programmes in to our GMP operations.
This is a client facing role and you will be working with a multifunctional team, therefore you will be required to work and communicate effectively across different areas of the business. Being able to build strong working relationships and to collaborate with colleagues and clients is key to being successful in this position.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum HNC/D science qualification and significant CMC product development or study lead experience. Candidates that have relevant experience within industry or in a similar role will also be considered. Proven line management experience and excellent project management and leadership skills are also essential in this role.
