BioAscent Discovery, (www.bioascent.com), based at Biocity Scotland, is a young company providing chemical focused logistics support services to universities, biotech’s and pharma involved in drug discovery, with ambitious plans to grow our existing international client base.
We now need an experienced Sales and Business Development Manager, who will work with us to achieve and exceed our sales targets. We are offering the opportunity to join our young, ambitious team, delivering high quality services to an international drug discovery community.
You will be highly motivated and ambitious, with a proven track record in achieving and exceeding scientific services sales targets. You will use your pro-active attitude to find and win new customers, to help us develop and execute our sales plan for specific regions, to ensure our revenue and gross margin objectives are met. This is your chance to show your talents and innovative ideas to grow our revenue, and benefit from the growth of our business, to build your role.
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a persuasive manner with the ability to build relationships, determine customer needs, provide solutions through the use of our services, create value propositions and, essentially, close deals. To support this, you will actively identify and target new business/ sales opportunities within our target markets for this coming year of Europe and North America, and follow up on leads provided by a new lead prospecting position.
