We provide a range of education programmes, as well as supporting initiatives from local to national level.
Community engagement

Environment
BioCity's impact on the environment is relatively low, but we set ourselves tough standards.
Our current initiatives include comprehensive measurement of water, waste, energy, emissions; targeted reductions; awareness and engagement of employees and suppliers; and public policy engagement and advocacy.
Economic impact
The Government has identified Nottingham and Central Scotland as centres of significant potential growth in the knowledge economy and is promoting a co-ordinated effort to promote this growth.
The two regions are particularly strong in the areas of lifesciences, IT & digital technologies, and clean technologies.
We are closely involved in shaping the development plans and supporting initiatives to attract new companies to the regions.
