Cross-species Genomics (CrossGen) Limited was formed in 2005 by a research scientist from the University of Nottingham. CrossGen uses proprietary comparative genome hybridisation technology to develop virtual microarrays for species with unsequenced genomes. Our microarrays are particularly useful for toxicology studies in the pre-clinical assessment of drug candidates. Some companies are also using our virtual microarrays to develop veterinary pharmaceuticals and surrogate biomarkers.
