X-Link is a healthcare bioscience company founded originally as a spinout from Nottingham Trent University. The company was formed to exploit the pathophysiological importance and commercial/industrial applications of the transglutaminase family of enzymes.

Primary focus areas for investigation include wound healing and scar management, but also exploitation of transglutaminase enzyme technology to medical devices, diagnostics and industrial production. Importantly, X-Link will also develop new strategies for disease management through the development, delivery and applications of targeted transglutaminase inhibitors.
