Ageing in Great Britain Ltd is a not-for-profit Company Limited by Guarantee Company registration number 7512955. We became operational in 2011, providing a chargeable home based intensive Rehabilitation and Home Care Service for older people who have been declared medically fit to leave hospital but is unable to leave as they need support with their mobility and other activities of daily living for a safe hospital discharge. We are a registered provided with Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Under the Community Care (Delayed Discharge etc.)Act 2003 our aims and objectives are to improve the health and mobility of older people leaving hospital within their own homes, by providing intensive home based Rehabilitation and Home Care services, Community Home Care and a free welfare advice service for customers with a personal budget.
Our strategic direction is managed by a board of 6 Trustees, C.E.O and Customers. The organisation employes 5 Occupational Therapists, 25 Senior & firstline, Casual Staff who are qualified, experience and CRB checked to work with vulnerable adults.

Transport from hospital Intensive home based care service for 3 weeks (this can be extended if required)
Rehabilitation, Shopping, pension collection, prescription collection, cleaning, escort for medical appointments, meals, snacks and drinks preparation
Free welfare rights assistance & application form completion
Assistance to set up direct debit payment for our services
