Uk embassy staff from across the globe are in Nottingham this week to learn about advances in medical technology. The 21 delegates, all Trade and Investment officers based in places such as Malaysia, China, South Africa and Dubai, will also brief experts from the healthcare industry on markets in their country. The week-long event is being hosted by Nottingham's Biocity bioscience innovation centre. Organiser Bob Kipps, UKTI senior sector manager for International Healthcare, said: "The city is at the leading edge of healthcare technology with Boots, the marvellous Biocity innovation centre and the University of Nottingham."
