We have a fantastic opportunity due to our continued growth for a Project Scientist to join our Pharmaceutical Sciences team. As a Project Scientist you will be responsible for project development aspects ahead of CMC activities including formulation development and method transfer / qualification.
In this role you will ensure the timely provision of development plans and reports, analytical qualification protocols, reports and laboratory write ups. Furthermore, you will be responsible for all formulation development aspects of the projects and ensuring the provision of draft batch records and the smooth transition of programmes in to our GMP operations. Other tasks will include in-vitro and analytical testing, laboratory write ups and checks, writing and updating SOPs and analytical methods as well as training of new staff.
This is a client facing role and you will be working with a multifunctional team, therefore you will be required to work and communicate effectively across different areas of the business. Being able to build strong working relationships and to collaborate with colleagues and clients is key to being successful in this position.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum HNC/D science qualification and two years CMC product development experience. Candidates that have relevant experience within industry or in a similar role will also be considered. Excellent project management and leadership skills are also essential in this role.
